This foundation paper can be left inside the quilt.  It will become a thin layer of polyester if washed.  No need to shorten stitch length, as you are not ripping the paper out.  The paper easily goes through the printer.  If using this paper with any of the New York Beauty stencils, we recommend that you use a Pigma Brush Pen for drawing the lines.
